Roster- your Official Hockey SK Team Roster must accompany this registration form.
      (You may have to obtain this from your local minor hockey association)
-The Official Hockey SK Team Roster must include all players last name, first name, sex,
               DOB and position as well as team officials. 
-You may hand write in the jersey numbers on the Official Hockey SK Team Roster or
             provide a separate list. 
-Registered AP names with birth dates and jerseys numbers will be accepted up to
                 1 week prior to the commencing of the tournament. 
-It is your teams’ responsibility to provide a new Official Hockey SK Team Roster shall there
            be any changeschanges will be accepted up to 1 week prior to the commencing
                            of the tournament.
-Only those players listed on your Official Hockey SK Team Roster and your registered APs 
list will be permitted to play in the tournament.

Once we have received this application and your monies, your spot will be confirmed by email. 
Tournament fees are non-refundable (unless your spot can be filled).

CASL Information

U7 Tournament Rules
  1. This is a sanctioned tournament and SHA rules govern the tournament for minor hockey.
  2. All officials are SHA carded officials. The referees’ decisions are final and protests are not allowed.
  3. Team listed first is the “Home” Team and shall wear white. 
  4. Only players listed on the roster will be allowed to play.
  5. Overage players and APs must be indicated on the roster.  Overage players must have been approved by the tournament committee prior to commencing of the tournament or they shall not be allowed to play.
  6. All games will be Cross-Ice.
  7. Games are allotted 1 hour (this includes warm-up).
  8. Games will be played back to back with floods as per the schedule.
  9. A 3 minute warm-up will take place prior to each game. The clock will be set for the 3 minutes and will not be extended.  If your team is late, it forfeits the warm-up time.  Please ensure that your team is ready to go at least 15 minutes prior to the designated start time. 
  10. Games will consist of two 24 minute straight time periods with a 2 minute break in between.
  11. The horn/buzzer will sound every 2 minutes for line change.
  12. There shall be NO face off at the start of every shift.
  13. Goalies should rotate and shall not be required to be goalie dressed but may use a goalie stick.
  14. Puck shot out of play: Official will blow whistle, defending team backs off and non-offending team gets possession.
  15. Goalie freezes puck: Official will blow whistle, attacking team backs off and defending team get possession.
  16. Goal Scored: Official will blow whistle, attacking team backs off and defending team get possession.
  17. Players are restricted to a 3 goal maximum per game.
  18. Time-outs are NOT allowed to be called by any team
  19. A tie remains a tie, no play-off format and no overtime.
  20. MMHA Tournament Committee reserves the right to adjust playing times throughout the day and has final say in all matters.

Please note:
 
  1. If any coach or team official are assessed a gross or game misconduct will be suspended for the balance of the tournament.
  2. If a spectator has been addressed by a tournament committee member, MMHA Board member or City of Melfort employee with respect to their behavior they will be ejected immediately for the remainder of that day.
  3. Goalie equipment is allowed but not mandatory.  MMHA does not typically use goalie equipment. 

**The City of Melfort asks that you stay off the ice until the zamboni doors are closed.
 
***These rules will not be adjusted by anyone other than the Primary Tournament Rep in consultation with the MMHA GM and/or Tournament Coordinator.
